These motors do not have provisions for mounting encoders, but are suitable for use with volts/hertz or open loop vector controls. Consult the product technical specifications to determine the maximum continuous duty constant torque speed range. As required under Federal law, MicroMAX motors may be required to comply with EPAct efficiencies when operating from utility power. Marathon Electric’s Vector-Duty motors are suitable for use with either volts/hertz or vector controls, with or without feedback devices. These motors feature a wide constant torque and/or constant horsepower speed range and are performance-matched to all current technology IGBT drives.
