This 5 lb. cylinder is rated to work with nitrogen. Unlike CO2 cylinders, the valve has a female connection, which mates with nitrogen regulators. You may also fill nitrogen cylinders with "beer gas", a blend of CO2 and nitrogen. The OXARC HIGH CAPACITY 4500 psi cylinder gives you up to twice as much gas in a single cylinder! It's larger capacity translates into savings for you - savings in time, in product, in space, and in money! This cylinder has double the capacity of most conventional cylinders. It will hold twice the gas volume of the regular "K" style of cylinder and 50% more than the "T" style of cylinder. Let's assume that you use 10,000 cu ft of oxygen each month. If your oxygen is now delivered in "K" size cylinders, that's 40 cylinders that you handle and store on site. The equivalent in the OXARC HIGH CAPACITY 4500 psi cylinders would be 20!

With the increased capacity of the OXARC HIGH CAPACITY 4500 cylinder, your cylinder inventory could be reduced by as much as 50%. That frees up your valuable floor space. Add to that your savings on reduced inventory carrying cost, and it becomes obvious that the OXARC HIGH CAPACITY 4500 psi cylinder adds more dollars to your bottom line. The high pressure outlet of the DUAL-OUTLET valve provides actual cylinder pressure much like a standard cylinder valve. A specially designed lower plug incorporates a spring loaded seat disk which tends to keep the valve closed as the valve handwheel is rotated. This SLOW-OPENING feature prevents the rapid pressure rise associated with standard cylinder valves. With the slow pressure rise characteristic, lower temperature rise is also obtained. This feature prevents chamber ignition and provides enhanced oxygen service safety by reducing the potential of regulator burnout and regulator ruptures. The slow opening feature of this new valve also reduces the likelihood of personal injury and property damage. The low pressure outlet connection provides a lower pressure product for lower pressure customer regulators. The pressure reducing mechanism is factory set at 900 psi and is not adjustable by the user.
