This is a Vintage U.S. Navy Standard Signal Generator which came out of a commercial estate and it is in good looking and in working condition. It is Model 80 made by the Measurements Corporation of Boonton, New Jersey and it features bakelite knobs and control dials which likely date back to the 1940's or earlier. It has sockets for Pulse Input, Ext. Mod. and Carrier Output, an Ext Pulse knob, variable modulation knob, and ext. mod. knob with settings for Ext, Off, 400, and 1000, variable microvolts from .1 through 100K, and megacycle settings from 2 through 400 in five levels from A through F. When we turned it on it lit up and the needles on the percent modulation and output meters moved as we turned various settings.This is a great looking vingage generator whether you want to add it to your collection, use it for display, and/or place it back in service. It measures 12''x13''x20'' and weighs 45 pounds.

Announcing our NEW SG560 Signal Generator! We increased the frequency range all the way up to 5MHz and all the way down to 0Hz (yes, we mean zero...or DC!) continuously in 0.1Hz steps across the entire range! Next we increased the output level to go up to 10V peak to peak in the sine wave, square wave, or triangle wave forms. You can also provide a DC offset to the output allowing you to create a wide variety of signals for testing and experimenting. Recreate TTL, 4000 series logic levels, low voltage logic levels, AC waveforms with a DC component, or just plain AC signals. The SG560 contains a 10 bit DDS and filtering for a low noise, accurate low distortion output. The output stage utilizes the latest technology in digital modems and high power, high bandwidth DSL modems and is capable of a direct output of 2.5W! You can even generate carrier signals in the AM band for testing AM receivers and circuits. A jumper option for zero ohm output impedance allows for true output terminal metering. But watch out, 2.5 watts is enough to damage incorrectly connected circuits. Surface mount technology is used throughout the SG560 making it extremely reliable and accurate. Frequency is entered directly on the sealed membrane keyboard and adjusted with a precision rotary encoder with an oversized knob. Both frequency and output level are displayed on a high contrast, two-line LCD display. The SG560 operates on 8 to 16VDC and includes a standard 110VAC power adapter.
