The new YS 1.40 Sport is now available. This engine replaces the YS 1.20 FZ which was discontinued in early 2002. It is an exceptionally easy engine to operate with smooth running characteristics and the ability to run well on fuel in a variety of nitro percentages. However, we still recommend YS 20/20 fuel for best results. It is the same physical size as the 1.20 it replaces. Current street prices are very close to the 1.20 it replaced.
Replacement Engine for 150cc 157QMI scooters and motorcycles, it may fit many various Chinese/Asian bikes and scooters. This engine is rated at 7 HP. You may have to reuse your old rear differential shaft to use on certain models.

While your focus may be other than competition aeromodeling, the YS 160DZ delivers more horsepower than an engine in its class, either two or four stroke.
Depending on your selection of aircraft, the YS 160DZ can power models up to eighteen pounds with outstanding flight performance.
Propeller size ranges from 15.5x12 four blade up to 18x10 wide, and ideal RPM range is 8000 to 8500 for best flight performance. Recommended fuel is 20 to 30% nitro helicopter type for best results.
